Raku Microwave Fired Ceramic Mushroom 5

£10.00

Individually handmade and fired ceramic mushroom. Made with terracotta clay and a copper aqua raku glaze.

For my raku pieces I fire each piece as usual using my microwave kiln, and then use the raku firing technique using scraps of paper from my own paper waste. This results in a beautifully metallic shiny glaze effect.

Finished with a copper wire decoration which allows your mushroom to be staked into anything you’d like! For example a terrarium display or a plant pot.

Due to the nature of the making process and materials used, each ceramic mushroom is completely unique!
